Liquid aluminum sulfate is an excellent primary coagulant. Through charge neutralization and flocculation of raw water, turbidity and suspended solids are removed. In pulp and paper making, aluminum sulfate is mainly used for retention and drainage, charge neutralization, pH control, and improving sizing efficiency. Liquid aluminum sulfate is also used in the refining industry as a synthesis catalyst for the production. In drinking water treatment, liquid aluminum sulfate is an excellent primary coagulant.
